Perdikis has served the Jim Koons Automotive Company in a variety of different roles since he graduated from the University of Richmond in 1997. Under his leadership, the company has grown exponentially.
Alex Perdikis began his career in the accounting department at Koons Lincoln/ Mercury Volvo. He quickly moved from accounting to join the Koons of Tysons Corner sales team. Within three months, he became the top volume salesperson. Since then, Perdikis served in various capacities with the company, including executive vice president, general manager and partner.
Under his leadership, Koons of Tysons Corner became the highest volume Chevrolet and Chrysler dealership in the mid-Atlantic region. Throughout his tenure there, the dealership won the General Motors Corp. GMAC Dealer of the Year Award each year.
Alex Perdikis helped turn Koons Tyson Toyota into an award-winning dealership with a top 10 in the country ranked certified used car department. The dealership excels in total new car sales and has ranked as high as eighth in the entire country.

Perdikis sees tremendous growth potential for Koons of Silver Spring. By implementing a meticulously planned growth initiative, Perdikis’s goal is to make Koons of Silver Spring the largest dealership in the Washington D.C. market area.
He also realizes the importance of community as demonstrated by the company’s sponsorship of regional soccer tournaments and providing free services to furloughed employees.
